xp theme for windows 7?

Even after a few months I still prefer Xp to Win7. Are there any themes you can get to recreate Xp on a Win7 laptop?

I guess you could turn Aero off and reconfigure the taskbar - that'd get you "kinda close".. or is that not close enough?

Are you blind? It's just, that's the only reason anyone would prefer XP's theme over Aero.

You could just use the Windows Classic theme if you can put up with the greyness?

Some people just don't like "change". I think it's a mental problem or something.

If someone is used to the xp theme/layout what's the big deal. It's personal preference and as such everyone has a different opinion.

But you don't need it. You can use Object Dock from Stardock, which is a lot better than Win 7 task bar.

No it isnt. If you have a program full screen then you cant see it. minimize everything to use a dock? No thanks.

1 example out of a fair few as to why a dock is most definately not better

With every os, I just leave things on the vanilla setting, I turn animations off to speed up the desktop though

This way it's not a pain when you use someone else's pc

In that case why change? Put XP on if XP is a preference. No need to change OS.
