i am using that xpise thing, it works fine but doesnt seem to keep the theme after a restart :)
The problem i was having was that i had installed xpise and then forgot that i had uninstalled it and gone ahead and installed the neowin patcher. There seemed to be some sort of problem with xpise conflicting with the patcher. Using replacer fixed it for me. Just try it and see if it helps ;)

that thing completly bricked my laptop mate, had to reformat andstart form scratch i could even get into windows in safe mode

james.miller if you could shed any light on why the theme wont stick after a reset id be greatful...

and about the program mark, not blaming you for it bricking my laptop it does say it could LOL only had it a day so didnt have anything on it ;) just i sounded like a bit of a prat in that last post LOL

theme not sticking....hmmm. did you double click the msstyles file when you unzipped the theme? maybe windows isnt recognising it as a theme and resetting to defaults? not sure

Or maybe styler is applying the default theme at startup? make sure styler starts with windows (desktop >> 'style is applied at the time of starting') and select the theme with styler instead.

Sorry G18241, sounds like a bummer :( I never had any problems with it whatsoever :\

Make sure you note this down --> *In future don't take any advice from mark1* :p
