XP/Vista boot isue

I recently had an 80Gb HDD in my PC with Vista installed alongside my other HDD with XP on it
I removed the 80GB drive but when the PC boots it still looks for Vista first instead of booting straight into XP.
Any help appreciated

Hiya you need to google for vistabootpro it will remove the boot up operating system selection and just put it back to normal

or just boot from your xp cd. press a key start to setup as usual but press r at the first prompt screen to enter the recovery console. logon with the admin password and then run these 2 commands

fixboot
fixmbr

perfectly safe, i've done this numerous times when i've tried vista in the past and got fed of it after a few days.

i'm staying on xp now until vista is gold. no more beta/rc testing for me....
