also, sony will find a way to mess something up (and this is coming from a sony fan) just like with the Z there was the issue of the handset getting uncomfortably hot and then the sleep of death.

let's hope for the best eh
 
Gorgeous phone. Pretty much fixed all the flaws of the Z1 namely the screen, speakers and the bezel.

3200 mah battery, 5.2" IPS screen, 3GB ram, stereo speakers and waterproof all in a premium glass/alu build. Forget the S5 this is the phone to get.
 
I must say, ever since the Z Sony is on a roll, they finally seem to be getting it right. The Z2 is also finally using a screen with good viewing angles. The bezels still bother me but it's nice Sony still managed to cram a larger screen and a bigger battery in the same dimensions, and being lighter. I'm curious about that speaker though... and Sony's usual update speed...
 
At least by the time the 2 years of my Z1 are up (Or enough so that I can sell the phone get a new phone and pay off current contract) Sony might have nailed it :p

Reading around there's quite a lot of negative z1 owner sentiment, like it didn't equal the sum of its parts, I wouldn't jump on the z2 until I read plenty of user opinions.

This certainly looks a great phone, but I'd have to agree. I don't want to be a first adopter. :p

Something about it looks off as well, maybe it's the Sony software skin.
