I've been working with one of these tonight, and they are a terrible design. You need 2 sets of hands to attach it to the back plate, and the acrylic looks like it's bending even though I'm only tightening by hand. I can't tell if it's tight enough as it just keeps giving!

Is this the general consensus, or am I doing something wrong? :confused:
 
Mine too was a nightmare to fit, ended up ripping all the skin off both my index fingers! I ended up removing the springs from mine (after posting on here) as it's quite difficult to actually get the block on in the first place. I would end up getting thermal paste everywhere and having to re apply it :(
 
i fitted the raystorm copper cpu block to my LGA 1155 chipset and after carefull reading of the instructions i soon gave up and resorted to watching a video on youtube to show me how to install it as the instructions were not helpful,

ive not experienced any bending, im happy with the overall look of the design however the instructions did let it down
 
I have fitted 2 of these both on my sons computer, terrible terrible fitting design, they do preform well, once you mange to get them on properly though,

I do sometimes wonder in the rand d departemnts how they imagine a average user will actualy install some things.
