Xtend & Climb ladders

Anyone have any experience of using these? They look like a good idea, convenient way of transporting a ladder with your car etc but I have concerns about how safe they really are.

Im not joking, the other week I saw two lads cleaning there house windows down my road and to get to the top window he put the ladder on top of their wheelie bin and got his little brother to hold it while he climbed up.

A genuine lol, for that video, the sound of him thumping down on the floor!!!

We used them for our guys at work. Only issue we had was if you shut them too fast and your fingers are in the way = ouch.
