I've encountered a bit of a strange problem with xvid playback on my new I5 rig.
If I move the seek bar forward to a portion of the video the video takes anywhere between 5 and 10 seconds to start and then the video will run really quickly for a second or two until the video is back in sync with the sound.
To resolve this I have tried several dedicated players such as VLC and mediaplayer classic and media player classic home cinema without success.
I've had no success from installing various codec pacs, audio or video drivers too.
Only xvid files are affected by this and other file types seem to be fine.
System details
I5 [email protected]
GTX 570
8 gb ram
Asus P8768
Asus STX soundard
Crucial M4
Windows 7 x64 SP1 and all updates installed.
Does anyone have any ideas of how I can fix this?
