Y Splitter vs T Splitter

Anything with a sharp turn in it will impede the flow, so I'd imagine the y-fitting will be less restrictive. Most pumps can deal with quite a number of whatever you like though. Just turn the pump up if necessary.

I assume this all depends on your build and how you fit the pump. I have the EK T splitter with hard tube from left and ball valve from right, which I swivel round when i need to drain.
I needed a more compact design, so went for the T.

Yeah I was just thinking the T splitter with the lowest connector for a ball-valve too.

If I use a T connector I can use the straight-through for the main flow - that should be better than the V connector (in my head without thinking about it much)

Thanks for the advice - it's helpful to know others agree before throwing money at parts.
