Yahoo push email on iPhone ?

must admit to having absolutely no idea where this should go, so apologies if it's in the wrong place!

I currently use googlemail's IMAP on my iPhone and it works well. I know that yahoo offer push email on it, and wondered if anyone uses it. I have email forwarded from a domain so it wouldn't be difficult to change if it'd be worth it.

Is it any good

isn't yahoo push email only available over AT&T in America?

Setting -> Mail -> Add Account

Select Yahoo Mail and enter details.

Then . . . . . .

Does it work well? I've always been down on free email services, but was very impressed with gmail. Is yahoo solid?

I haven't had any problems yet, although i only use it sparingly.

One thing i haven't worked out but don't think is possible (Please correct me if im wrong) is when you click on a photo and click email you cant then select which account to send with, mine always defaults to the gmail account which i entered first.

Just set it up and so far I can't make it 'push'. Wonder if you need 02. Can't see why though.

Try going into

Settings --> Mail --> Default account

Select your preferred account

Shocking i missed that

The I.T department at work block gmail accounts :eek:

so i can switch to yahoo now when i need to email myself

Yahoo lasted all of a couple of hours while I tested it yesterday. Pretty rubbish really. The push is very inconsistent, so I've gone back to the gmail account I've always used.
