For anyone who's still unable to decide on this one, a popular online retailer are selling this for £17.99, they also offer 3.5% off when used with quidco so it ends up closer to £17. For that price i took the plunge despite having way too many games to play at the moment.

0_0 seriously? I tried the demo and to be honest even though I enjoyed the original yakuza on ps1 this one controlled like crap, had bad animation, average dialogue and nothing of note other than japanese settings. I can't understand what the hype is about to be honest.

Finally clocked this last night, 37hrs of gaming and only 38% complete!
The sub-quests (or substories as it calls them) are ridiculously time consuming, but still quite compelling.
It is a little rough around the edges, sometimes the sub-quests are a bit unclear and some are quite daft, but in the end you crave exp points to upgrade your abilities.
Great game, time to go back to Battlefield, with spells of Katamari to break it up I reckon

I've finally given this a proper go. Terrible graphics for this generation but it has a fantastic retro feel in the combat that i'm finding very moreish. I'm so glad it has the original Japanese dub, it just adds so much to the atmosphere of the game.
