Had a bit of trouble due to not being near the PC for the last 4 days and it loosing connectivity (which sucks because I'd be halfway through my next WU by now grrr) but alas all is well. Quick ipconfig and I've uploaded my first bit of foldy goodness. Here's to many more :).

H'onwards and h'upwards old bean. You'll probably top this week's top stompers as you mow down the slackers at the bottom of the tables. If you have but a single machine you might wish to add yourself to Rich's single-machine cruncher list.
 
So with a total of 762 ranked members for team 10 I've just stomped 251 slackers!. Oh yesss.

I've got my moms PC folding for the mean time too so I can't enter the single machine table :(. Never fear, I'll fold my way to somewhere :p .
 
Oh man that's a bummer eh.

If you want to avoid those nasty 2124s you can try reconfiguring your client with -advmethods switched ON. I don't think I have had any since I made the switch.

Glad I set one core of my mates C2D to use -advmethods. That way I get the best of both worlds.

You can do it now and the next time it asks for a WU it will ask for an advmethods WU. You'll have to finish *** one you've got before you see the effect.
 
I managed to somehow get a p2124 despite having the -advmethods switch on, it's only a preference to tell the servers what you'd like but generally it works out for the best :)
 
Yeah, it is never a cast-iron guarantee. I find changing server usually helps a lot when switching -advmethods on and off, but that requires mucking about with deadlineless Work Units and remembering to turn it off and not leaving your client idle for 5 hours :D
