Dropped my ybr twice in the last week both low speed but it appears to have knocked something out with the steering, you now have to turn the bars to actually get it going in a straight line.
I've loosened off the clamps on the forks and tried to straighten it up but that doesn't seem to have totally sorted it but it did seem to help a little or I've just imagined it.

Anyone have any other ideas before I give in and take a hit to the wallet at a garage?

Here's a couple of pictures with the bars turned so the wheel is going straight.

It's hard to tell from the pics. If you straighten up the wheel are the yokes in the same possition as the handle bars or staight like the wheel?

My first thought is that the handle bars are sqeued/twisted

e: could the mounts for the handle bars have moved?

Looks like your head stock has twisted very common just do what you did before but with more teddy, wheel between your legs, and give it a good yank.

That would make sense as like I said I'm sure it helped a little, I'll give it another go tomorrow maybe get my house mate to put his bulk to some use and give it a good yank.

the right bar is bent more forward toward the tank then the left, look at where it bends upwards

needs pulling back out toward the front wheel to me

I bent my bars coming off at about 10mph. Garage replaced for me for about £100.

Easily DIY but I need it every day for work so though it was reasonable.

P.S - stop dropping it / riding in the ice! I'm in the car this week as it's not worth the risk as you're finding out. You can be as careful as you like but physics is physics! :p

Looking at the pics again I would say it's a bit of both, still worth checking the head stock as well replacing the bars.

you might be better off buying a second hand pair of bars rather than trying to straighten them yourself, you never seem to get them right

I know, I know the bike is my only transport though and I thought I'd be alright sticking to the main roads obviously not :(

Just picked up a new set for £35 so I'll give my current ones a bashing to see if they'll straighten out and if not I've got a back up set.

Handy tip for getting the forks/yokes/wheel aligned is to slacken off everything on the front end apart from the front spindle and then bounce the front end up and down a few times before tightening it all up again starting at the bottom.

Just bear in mind that if your top yoke clamps around the fork tube instead of over the top of it then you'll have to leave that tight or the front end will just collapse instead.

If you slacken everything off you'll end up with most of the fork legs protruding out of the top yoke :D
