yearbook?

My old school did them (we had to organise it all so more they encoraged us to do it...) and i got it at gcse.... Was a waste of money

The A-Level one became a failure before it started

I didnt buy one (but had to go back to get my A-level certificates and got funny looks when my unknown pleasures t-shirt wasnt deemed formal....)

All I got was O level certs. I hate all this Americanised rubbish, having a "Prom" etc. You left school, thank god for that and get on with it. I was very glad to never see those people again.
This, except I forgot to get my certificates :p

My school and most of the schools in my area did them, I think it's a nice way to remember the people you went to school with. Unfortunately, the one for my year never got made, as it was arranged by the pupils and the girl who was supposed to be in charge left half way through the year .

We had one at our school, and we had to give permission for our photo to be in it. I didn't give permission but they put my photo in it anyway, and once I complained they had to destroy the entire batch that had already been produced and reprint them. WIN.

Yearbooks and proms are an American tradition. When I left school twenty years ago there was no such thing.

I think it is a good idea to mark the end school but it would be nice to see kids do something original rather than just copying another countries traditions.

lol.

i have one now, they handed them out on results day rather that when we broke up.

its black and white tho :/

i would rather have had the choice to pay more for a coloured one but oh well!

got one non the less :)

my school did them, i payed for it, then never picked it up, then apparently today when i got my grades the ones which hadnt been picked up were in a box. I missed it dammit! I really hope they still have them in a week or twos time when we start college.

I moved a lot, and while I can't say that I hated the school I did my A-Levels in, I left asap.

I only have ink on a shirt from leaving primary school.

ah our year does a yearbook, it's actually pretty good, all made by the pupils. it's just full of pictures from our socials which we just go to the pub and get steaming and go into school the next day, also pictures of the formal where again we just get steaming....just full of embarrassing pictures from bebo tbh. a tradition has for the year to write a song, always ends up saying which teachers are hot lol.
