Lets not forget that minor thing called a trial that's yet to happen.

Whilst, if proven guilty, I hope they get what they deserve, I hope that if I were ever in court I would be assumed innocent until proven guilty so I try to extend the same courtesy to everyone else.
 
The sad thing is I truly believe that stockhausen did let out a joyous cry when he heard this news... :p
 
im not expecting them to get any jailtime.

Well that's because you would have hurt a company whereas all these poor people allegedly did was hurt members of the public.

I hope you rot in prison for stealing from Wollies.
 
Her hair should be given a separate, indeterminate sentence of its own right. How can she not wake up in the morning, look in the mirror and think 'What on earth is up with my hair?'

Kind of agree with this. Thread title suggested much more fun!

As a side point, I kind of feel that her trial isn't going to be right anyway... How are you ever going to find an unbiased jury on this?

Pfffffft don't give a ****. The disgusting public are as much to blame for this as they are for funding this kind of behaviour.

By this stage, I would be VERY surprised if the six of them didn't end up in court. However, I agree that they will likely get off scot-free.

Just to remind people, these scum, headed up by Rebekah Brooks / Wade are charged with the following:
  • That Rebekah Brooks between 6 July and 19 July 2011 conspired with Charles Brooks, Cheryl Carter, Mark Hanna, Paul Edwards, Daryl Jorsling and persons unknown to conceal material from officers of the Metropolitan Police Service.
  • That Rebekah Brooks and Cheryl Carter between 6 July and 9 July 2011 conspired together permanently to remove seven boxes of material from the archive of News International.
  • That Rebekah Brooks, Charles Brooks, Mark Hanna, Paul Edwards and Daryl Jorsling conspired together and with persons unknown, between 15 July and 19 July 2011, to conceal documents, computers and other electronic equipment from officers of the Metropolitan Police Service.
It seems unlikely that the CPS would actually have charged them unless they had a reasonable expectation of getting a conviction; I imagine that the seven boxes and the documents, computers and other electronic equipment have been found buried under a heap of manure outside one of the Brooks' stables.

On the other hand, I have no doubt that the Dirty Digger will fund the most expensive legal team available to make sure that this ends here; he can't afford to have Brooks and Hanna swinging from the trees, announcing where all the incriminating evidence is buried in order to get a lighter sentence.

There is a certain amount of irony in this given that certain newspapers have, through their reporting, potentially biased jury pools themselves in other court cases.
 
I used to work for her dad Bob Wade, he had a gardening company in Hatton nr Warrington, used to cut Pete Waterman's lawn as one of his contracts! :D She was quite tidy back then! ;)

'The Grauniad' makes me laugh every single time you use it. It's like the joke that keeps giving so please use it more often. Please.
 
Probably knew something about it but to be honest bored of this one now - slap on the wrists all round and can we get on with more important stuff
