Yes,another 'Why should I get a Mac' thread!

Ok people, help appreciated, and I can confirm, the eagle has landed. Or in normal speak, I've order an iMac! Lets see if the proofs in the pudding.

Is there any way to boot your boot camp windows partition from OS X? So i don't need to reboot in windows mode i could just run it like VM ware or parallels? I don't really want to have 2 windows installs.

From the VM site..

You can run our boot camp install in VMware Fusion.

Boot Camp integration even better with VMware Fusion 1.1:

- Use Microsoft Vista Boot Camp partitions in VMware Fusion virtual machines

- Automatically remount the Boot Camp partition after Boot Camp virtual machine is shut down

- Improved support for detecting and preparing Boot Camp partitions for use as virtual machines

I've not tried it yet but this is what i intend to do.

Hmmm sounds good, think it will do the same with xp?
