I've got 2 3870's in xfire at mo in my pc which is a E8500 on a Asus Maximus formula mobo clocked to 4.2 on air. 8 gig pc6400 reaper mem.
I mainly use the pc for gaming.
Should I dump the 3870's and get a 5870 ??

The higher your res and the more AA you slap on the bigger performance difference you'll see.

well a 4870 was about twice the performance of a 3870. so with two your about at that performance. a 5870 is about twice the performance of a 4870. so I would say its a good upgrade. your only going to see it in games that are pushing your current hardware though!
