Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. Yes or No?

I feel your pain Eyetrip and would be the same as you but best to just wait till at least the 390X is launched and you will have a wider picture of what is what then.

Yeah, I know, but I am just tired of the endless waiting... and then another driver gets released, and still the single most important game to me currently goes utterly ignored. Rinse, repeat.

I don't need/expect support for things immediately after release, but at least near to it!

Sigh...

How do you find the 980 SLI on the Philips 40 inch by the way?

How much do you need to compromise settings?

A little, but only because I like to have a smooth framerate (and the game still looks damn good!!)

Playing quite a bit of BF4 lately, which I've knocked down to 'High' and it's flying everywhere :)

Wait and adopt the new tech if you have the means. :D

Its not like you are hard done by with 8GB 290X Tri-Fire for the time being is it? :p

Thats not quite my issue - it's the shoddy driver support for crossfire from AMD lately. Especially for my most played game, Elite D.

Two of those cards sit doing nought a lot of the time.

Under 45 min!

I just went from a dabble with AMD back to NVIDIA again, I'm glad I have NVIDIA under the hood once more. :D

I am waiting for the comparison between the 390x/980TI then i will choose, this this 7950 starting to struggle. I did have xfire 7950s but ...... Lets not even talk about that.

So my last second decision to P/X my 7970 for a 780TI Matrix Platinum instead of buying a second 7970 was a good one it seems? :p
