YES!! Passed my Driving Test first time!

Just thought id make a thread since im really chuffed with passing.

I need my license for Work, and ive dragged it all out far too long, so Even though ive had lessons most weeks for about 8 months i finally passed the practical test first time

I broke my foot 3 weeks ago so i couldnt drive until this morning. Then the car was a diesel instead of the petrol im used to, since my instructor had to go on a training course. So i felt pretty uncomfortable.

But it all went according to plan in the end and i got 5 minors!

Most of which regarded to speed and approach speed but i dont care.. cos i PASSED

I dunno yet mate. My cash situation is pretty poor right now, So i have no idea what to look for. Some jobs ill apply for may provide a van which would be handy.

Maybe someone can recommend a real cheap good runner. Nothing fancy. but cheap as poss to buy and insure

Just pick up a cheap escort. Millions around and there easy to fix and get parts for. Should be able to get one with 12months MOT and tax for £500. If it's a bad one then just sell it and get another.

i had a escort when i first passed, 1.6lx £350 with 12months MOT and 6 months tax. It was okay apart from the dodgy CVH engine. Get a zetec and there are pretty good ihmo.
