Yet Another Corsair 900d

I am massively impressed with the size of the case, the build quality is fantastic, I have had some issues with the paint finish which is very easily removed from the interior of the case by things like screw heads, nothing that a small tub of black paint doesn't fix but still sadly.

So I made a big push last night which meant dismantling my existing system to put the parts into the new one so no pictures just yet but there will be loads when I get back online.

I fitted the second GPU block and finished the loop with the tubing and clamps then applied liberal amounts of kitchen paper all over the place and filled it up.

Anyone else have that brown trousers moment when your about to turn to the power on for the first time!

Luckily for me I had one tiny leak which was fixed by tightening one of the barbs up into the screw fixing.

Going to run it for 24 hours under supervision so that I can thoroughly check that there are no leaks then its cable everything else in and we are done :)

As before pics to follow when I have a usable computer.....

Have to say Kudos to OCUK support staff who have also solved a minor problem by advanced shipping a replacement to a faulty XSPC LCD temp sensor unit, excellent customer service as usual :)

It took me about 30 minutes with the dremel a couple of cutting blades and a grinder to get it to fit, slightly annoying but not the worst thing I have ever had to do, its just cos the front edge of the controller has a slight bulge that makes it wider than a standard 5.25" slot.

So finally as promised is a jumbo update with pics posted from the new monster computer :)

so without further ado here is the leak testing:

I did 8 hours ish of leak testing and only had one small leak I will be keeping a hawk like eye on the system as I am paranoid that it will start to leak :)

Here are the red fans in situ up in the top of the case, forgive the poor photography, having to do it blind pointing up at the fans is harder than it looks :)

So I have been contemplating the choice of red lighting and I dont really like it so I am going to switch to white LED or cold cathode lighting shortly which pretty much should be the last change for awhile.
