Yet another new 172 owner!

Two and a half years ago I almost bought a 172 Cup. I ended up not doing so but three cars later and after my Fabia vRS departed last week, today i picked up a mk1 172

Being a mate of Coco's i've had a bit of time behind the wheel of his Cup, including almost stacking it into a wall at Donny, so i'm fairly familiar with the whole 172 thing

Anyhow, it's an absolute minter and has been well looked after ... excuse the dodgy piccys however:

Well 172 as the name would suggest.... but normally slightly less then 172 iirc.

I think they're quoted at 172 Bhp DIN, or whatever the euro measurement thingy is.

Yeah, i read somewhere that there was only 500 mk1's in black around, i certainly prefer it over the silver.

It's got phase2 rear light clusters, which look much better than the early ones.

It does look a bit dated, it's certainly a bit better on the facelifts versions. Im liking the half leather/alacantara seats though so far

EDIT again: also needs some smoked side repeaters, those clear ones are just pain ugly.
