I have a friend who wants the best bang for buck gaming PC he can get for his flexible budget of £1500.

He only needs the tower and has everything else including the monitor etc. He's coming from an old 6000 series i5 and 1070 TI.

Only requirement is the ability to play modern AAA games

Sticking with 216 case as excellent airflow and designed to take long gpu's(4090)..didn't see @Tetras last bit about 7900xtx till typing now, though could go a bit more adventurous if wanted to make it visual like the o11 vision etc

put the b650e-e rather than the f..gives 1 more nvme slot, slightly beefier vrm's and a led error code display
6000c30 ram best for 7800x3d, put rgb in for a bit of visuals
rm1000x shift on offer at mo..can get away for £146 with additional discount..side plugs makes it very easy to wire
nvme 7300/7000k read/write and 2000tbw endurance
7900xtx..this ones on offer
air cooler.. can change, was at a price where swapping wouldn't alter price.

b]My basket at OcUK:

Total: £2,081.92 (includes delivery: £7.99)

Could get the tuf b650e gaming wifi..still on offer away for £150, know another £100 of cost, but this is decent rig, so put a top b650 board in. tuf will work fine though.less io ports on back, loose a nvme slot, weaker vrm but still more than capable of driving a 7950x, loose the pcie5 gpu to pcie4, but that's about it
