So after looking around the forum I didn't see anyone who had already requested what I want.
>I'm after a speaker system/amplifier+speaker system
>Audio source will be from the onboard on my Crosshair IV or from the TV
>I would like 5.1 surround sound
>I'll be using them in my bedroom roughly 4x5m
>I have around £100 to spend, don't want to spend more than this and quite happy to spend less
The other thing (don't know if this is odd) is that I'd like the speakers to be powered by speaker cable, the type with one silver and one copper wire. This is because I'm going to be redecorating my room and will be able to install the wiring so that it is hidden. I'll also be able to wall mount the speakers. If I've got speakers that take the standard speaker wire I'll be able to replace/upgrade them without having to re-wire.
I currently have a Logitech X-540 5.1 system and am quite happy with it, the problem with it being that the wires are moulded into the back of the speakers/short rear speaker wires.
Performance wise, anything similar or above will be fine as I'm no audiophile.
Thanks for reading, any suggestions welcomed
