Hey there,

I'm looking for a SSD - mainly to increase boot times and I'd also like a nice high number in my Windows Experience Index.

I've currently got a Rampage II Extreme motherboard, which I understand is only SATA II compatible. I am probably going to go for a 120/128gb SSD, simply so I can have a couple of games on there as well as W7. I'm currently torn between an Intel 320 (shiny free game!) and from what I've read, the other option seems to be a OCZ Vortex 2E.
Price wise they seem very similar, are there any big pros/cons with either or would both do a pretty good job?

Thanks in advance!

Intel SSD's are ridiculously expensive.
I've been meaning to get one as well, and i'm looking at this one currently. It gets good reviews as far as I can tell.

The new 320 Series are not expensive, they are about the same price as the Vertex SSDs. Also Intel are known for their stability, while I heard lots of complaints from people who bought the Vertex 2E. One guy on this forum had his Vertex fail 3 times after RMAing everytime!
