Ha yeah. They replace an illegal sig with a state-sanctioned illegal sig. I wonder if people who leave the warning message up get suspended for breaking the rules again :D

No offence to Slackworth, but has he ever even been into this forum? Wouldn't it make more sense to put a DCer in charge of this bit / someone with interest?
 
Sorry guys I didn't wanna start a mass - debate about the pros and cons of the yellow signage, just wondered if anyone knew if there had been a sudden change in the rules that made this sig:

Suddenly innapropriate. Yes its a 5 line ascii text sig converted to a png, but its my stats sig and its been fine for all this time. I'm not keen to reinstate it if its going to get me suspended, but its hardly the type of sig that seems to be the type that falls foul of the rules, I just hadn't seen anything that indicated that there was a problem until yesterday.

But hey if its a new rule that I just wasn't sentient enough to anticipate after all the christmas cheer I partook of then I'll have to find a new one :cool:
 
Personally I'd have no problem with it - but it's not my call anymore. I suppose one has to be careful of double standards... Hopefully a member of the mod team will poke their heads in here and confirm what I have said above.

I think he used to do the seti news and other seti stuff and thats why he's the dc mod. I don't think he has posted in here for a few years and he probably doesn't have the time.
We need a dc mod, not so much to moderate but to help out with some of the things we do.

We are in a position now where no-one on the mod team actually folds which is a shame.

That makes a bit more sense then. Didn't know that (but then I never SETIed for OcUK :eek:!).

Photography and Video doesn't even have a don at the moment. Anarchy! ;)

It has decent members though, and a forum with no Dons has all the RTMs go to every Admin.
