Yorkshire folk don't half go on about it do they? :p

Reminds me of that Jack Dee routine where he rants on about Yorkshire folk "drinking Yorkshire tea, in a Yorkshire cup, after eating a Yorkshire pudding, and taking my Yorkshire terrier for a walk" etc etc.

What is so special about Yorkshire? I think it is the way it has maintained core traditional values such as farming, a beautifully kept countryside, unique identity, an irrational fear of outsiders, flat caps, whippets, coal mining and toothless idiots sat in local pubs drinking until they pass out and wet themselves to the delight of tourists

One of the things that makes Yorkshire so darned delightful is simply the fact that it isn't London. That gives it about 1000000000000+ points in my book.

Oh, and of course, it spawned Gilly :D

I dont see why people take the **** out of the yorkshire accent though when theres much worse ones, I was speaking to a guy from wiltshire in spain last month and had to hold my breath every time he spoke to refrain myself from bursting into laughter. :D
