I've learned,

How a CPU accesses a component (Memory or I/O) using memory maps.
The different pins associated with integrated circuits.
How to build simple circuits such as barrel shifters and carry look ahead adders in VHDL.

All this in the past few hours.

. . . and trying to cram a years worth of material 9 hours before a 9:30 am computer architecture exam isn't fun.
