You say your COVID status is fine but don't ship my order.

My Intel Xeon W-3175X has died, Intel offered a refund and I ordered a replacement AMD Ryzen 9 5950X + motherboard two days ago, it hasn't shipped yet but the COVID status is green.

I'm sorry, what? I paid £10.50 in shipping for a 3 day delivery time, you used to charge £8.70 for next day delivery, what is this?

Why do you state COVID status is green?

I'll just stare at the blank space my computer was, oh and yes, I bought the Xeon for £2700 from OCUK, too, glad it turned out to be a useless product.

Not useless. You feel you had bad service, don't shop there again.

If it hasn't been dispatched you can cancel your order for a refund.

There is literally nothing else that will achieve anything.
Trouble is I'm stuck with OCUK as there isn't a 5950X anywhere else, so yes, still an unhelpful response and OCUK should really be clear about their COVID status instead of keeping it in the green, when it isn't.

I just need to rebuild the computer quickly after this absolutely horrible experience with C621 which I spent over £6,000 on.

Ok won't change ****, moaning on a forum won't change ****, the only way they will learn is of people stop spending money there.

So either put up with it, or wait for someone else to get stock, and shop there.

I don't appreciate your foul mood.

Covid status may be green whatever that means but I'm sure you're aware we were in the period between Christmas and New Year when you ordered which is when many people take holiday and therefore service is generally going to be a bit slow unless you order from one of the massive multinationals.

Precisely.

What we have here is what I refer to as DREF (Difference in Reality/Expectation Frustration).

The cure in this circumstance is 'expectation realignment'.

You ordered on the Tue 29th December. For all deliveries it clearly states 1 - 5 days. (Those are working days) Therefore you really should not be complaining/moaning/expressing exasperation before Wed 6th Jan.

Even then, not only is this a normally busy time of the year but:
  • Covid-19 rates are rising dramatically, therefore more people will be off work either sick or isolating.
  • Many areas of the country either have some ice or snow further hampering deliveries
  • Brexit has just happened which maybe putting extra pressure on company's resources.
I purchased a RTX 3090 last week. Normally it would have been dispatched the same day but it took 4 working days (6 in total as over a weekend) for it to be dispatched. It then arrived next day by DPD.

I strongly suggest you do whatever you have to do to wait patiently, until there is a 'real' delay. Maybe reflect that many who expected to be here this week no longer are, just a thought.

It actually says 1-3 working days on checkout.

Actually, if you ordered 2 days ago that would make it the Wednesday 30th December, which means even IF it did say 1 - 3 days, the very earliest you can start being upset is Tuesday 5th January 2021.

Today is a bank holiday just in case you weren't aware.

I refer you to my previous suggestion.
