Your All Time Top 5 PC Games

1. Deus Ex
2. System Shock 2
3. Counter-Strike 1.3 (not touting this as the best version, but it's just around this time I was most heavily into it and my interest waned with each subsequent version)
4. Civ 4 + expanasions.
5. Heroes of Might and Magic 2 hotseat mp. This needs two or three housemates and other visitors equally into the game, though. Without this essential added ingredient, I'd go for the Half-Life series instead.

1. Deus Ex
2. System Shock II
3. Total Annihilation
4. Half Life 1
5. Dungeon Keeper II :D

...no recent games in this list..:( ah well...There they are though :p

1. Battlefield 1942 (with desert combat mod)
2. Star Wars Galaxies (before they screwed it over)
3. Company of Heroes
4. Global Operations (started me off in fps games)
5. Age of empires 2

1: Wing Commander (and to a lesser extent the sequels)
It was Wing Commander that really got me into PC gaming :)

2: Mech Warrior 2 (and Legacy of the Ghost Bear expansion)
Absolutely great game in terms of the different tactics/methods you could use, do you go fast and light and peck the enemy to death, or heavy and slow slugging it out, or fast and nuts run in, shoot off one massively overpowered salvo and then shut down/blow up :p
It was also one of the most complex games i've ever played in terms of controls, and such great fun, not to mention one of the earliest true 3D games (I'm really hoping the new MW game will be closer to it than 4).

3: Ultima Online
So many hundreds of hours playing it, and so many people met (online) via it :)

4: Wing Commander Privateer
WingCommander/Elite ;) absolutely great game.

5: HalfLife 2.

1. Mafia: City Of Lost Heaven
2. Deus Ex
3. Team Fortress 2
4. Psychonauts
5. Giants: Citizen Kabuto

I would be here all day working this out. But this is pretty damn close to what I have in mind. Maybe TF2 would have been turfed for a golden oldie and Giants would have figured higher.

I actually got turned on to Pyschonauts through an older thread of this type and it came up on so many lists I had to give it a go. Absolutely amazing game that I wouldn't have have bothered picking up.

1. Baldur's Gate 2
2. Deus Ex
3. Planescape Torment
4. Fallout 2
5. Stalker SoC

Lifetime acheivement award because I have to fit it in somewhere but can't single out a specific version for my top 5 - Championship Manager (in the SI days)/Football Manager series :)

1. Deus Ex
2. Fear
3. Stalker : Shadows Of Chernobyl
4. Quake (1) single player
5. Farcry - just about beats games like Clear Sky or Halflife (1) from entering the 5th spot!:D
