But I don't post picture's of super cars, and a retro car can be whatever you define as one, as long as it's proper rusty, y0.
I post pics of what I like. You should do the same.

I just find it interesting that he posts up pictures of cars off another forum, day in day out, yet never seems to show us what he drives, or talk anything about what he drives.

I post pics from several forums because I like them. This is a discussion forum after all.

I haven't had anything worth showing for a long time. And yes, it ****** me off.

You can see the intrigue though? If you can post hundreds of pictures of other peoples cars but not your own, it almost seems as if you are ashamed of it's existence.

I posted a thread a couple of months back when it got picked up to get sorted.

I'll probably post another when I get it back.

Don't see the point in weekly updates of 'it's still the same car...Not magically turned into a Fiat Ritmo'.

I post loads of stuff that I like because that's how every other car forum I post on works; you share things you like, ideas et cetera.

For some reason, I'm the only one on here that does so. Can't remember the last time I saw a pic dump from anyone else.

Maybe I should go make a Donk thread (I made one with literally hundreds of photos on RR a few months back...)...I know how well you guys would receive that ;)

its a open forum is it not?

if people can take the **** out of corsas, anyone with anything under 2litres, chavs and stick on tat, or Fox's attractions to mondeo / BMW's then surely we can comment on cars that wont even go over a pot hole without botteming out? :p

like this one? lol

Think of my posts as an antithesis of all the people who post about their car being 'slammed' when it's running rims 3-4" larger than stock and a -40mm set of springs.

i think the reason they say this is because they think (as i do) that most of these cars would fail a MOT and are rust buckets, so ain't drivable... that's why they ask.
All the cars posted are fully taxed and tested. Any that do have rust only have a scant bit of surface rust that has either been sorted since the phot has been taken, will be sorted shortly or will be left because it doesn't affect the car in any way other than how it looks and the owner doesn't care.

Oh and as far as I can recall, all the cars posted are daily drivers. Your argument holds no water.

Its much like my dad keeping his E reg Micra thats falling apart due to rust... Why? and yes im comparing a Micra to these things. they are covered in rust and deserve some good servicing, or scrapping just like my dads Micra.... like the Bus comment, if all i could afford was a £50 rust bucket (that costs £200-500 a year on parts that fail), id rather get a bus.
Evidentally you have no idea what you're looking at or talking about. ;)

If you can find me a Split-window VW bus, Merc SEL on Air, a mint Minor, a Merc W123, a near-concours Vauxhall Magnum or a Mitsubishi Celeste (in any condition) for £50, I'll give you £100 and you can keep the change.

i just dont get slammed cars at all... yours, or people that buy 19inch rims for there 1.2 fiestas and lower them by 40... whats the point?

It looks good.

It's not practical, it is a pain in the Harris to live with and it knackers bearings et cetera...But it looks good.

just because a f1 car is a few inches off the ground and fast, doesnt mean its gona do it to your fiesta etc... lol

You think people drop their cars on their backsides to go fast?!

Hah!

That Silver merc look's the nuts.

OT: Hey Penksi, need an opinion. Getting a Mk3 Golf next week (5 door, l reg, RED). The body is immaculate and is in tip top shape. Now instead of me running it for a year and then scrapping it im thinking of going euro on it. But i cant decide on wheels. Borbet A's or Old Style Audi RS4 Wheels? Whaddya think?

I have some rims that I'm dying to see on a mk3 Golf.

They're not practical and they'd need camber plates and a healthy slam at the rear but they'd fit ;)
