Your chrome passwords for all to see

Who cares? Anything remotely important to me online has more than just my password protecting it. I can't even log into my Steam on Chrome/IE on my PC without needing to receive an email verifying it.

Indeed, and Firefox has the same in Options>Security.

Whilst Firefox does, it also has Master Password availability which once enabled, will encrypt all passwords.

Master Password is also available on mobile Firefox for those that sync across devices.

Jesus non news story.. How else did anyone think it would store passwords if you checked save...

Are the media really picking up on this..? User error as usual.
I don't think it's that it store your passwords, it's that anyone can click to view all your passwords in 2 seconds flat. At the very least they should be obscured with no option to "show" the plain text list of every password. There's really no need to make them viewable.
