Your Clubs Greatest Servant ?

Theres been a few legends throughout the clubs history that spring to mind but im not really old enough to comment on them.

But of my time id have to say Niall Quinn, was a class player for us, and obviously his recent buying of the club has gone down well.

done a lot for charity and the city of Sunderland as well.

Steve Walsh for me :)

Steve Perryman (1969-1986) - 851 apps

I think I agree although Gary Mabbutt runs him a close second.

If Ledley King sticks with the club then he will become a great servant too in terms of current squad members.

Bill Nicholson has to be the man imo. :)
I stand corrected, for some reason I just automatically thought of players only.

Spurs Player (1938-1954) - 341 apps
Spurs Manager (1958-1974) - 832 games

servant does not mean your favourite player

Where did he say it was his favourite player? And is it not possible that someone's favourite player is in fact a club's greatest servant?

Who is yours?

Just has to be Tony Adams, no-one even comes close. Of the current lot, Toure strikes me as being the best sort of player a team could have. Absolute rock on the field and never heard of off the field. No tabloid stuff, just a truly committed player who's just signed a new contract :Dclick
