I like to be 'unbiased' when it comes to consoles. That said, I've not got much reason to own an XB1 atm. GoW4 came close, but I'm also limited by space in this terribly cramped room and I've just bought a new car...

A few things looking back that made me chuckle.

I remember being in Comet and trying to decide between the Saturn or the PS1. My 13 year old brain at the time thought "no way will Sony succeed in this market, it's the their first attempt, it's bound to fail when up against the likes of Sega! Saturn it is". :D It ultimately flopped against the PS1, but I wouldn't have changed my decision looking back. My weekends were filled with two player games of Daytona USA, Sega Rally, Bomberman and X-Men Children of the Atom. The likes that weren't available on my mates PS1.

I brought my Game Gear in to school once, you know the last day of term where basically it's a play day and you bring something in to play with. I was in year 5 I believe. Everyone couldn't believe how amazing the Game Gear looked, in full backlit colour compared to their Gameboys, totally owned them! :D. The amount of AA batteries I'd get through though was nuts, I dread to think how much money was spent on batteries for it, in days when high capacity Ni-NH rechargables didn't exsist! My parents quickly went out and invested in the AC power supply!

I remember my dad playing the Space Shuttle simulator on the Atari 2600, and I'd just watch in amazement, as if he is piloting a real shuttle. The stress and pressure of trying to re-enter the earth's atmosphere :D

I had a big soft spot for my dreamcast very under rated console. As well as n64 had so many good mutliplayer games 4 friends huddled round a tv was class :) Most unreliable console goes to original xbox went through 3 of them.
