Busy day.
Have moved the male terrapin into a plastic tub with a floating platform until I can pick up another aquarium off the marketplace next week. It keeps nipping at one of the females. It’s so hot in there it’ll be fine without a heater for a few days.
Have then picked up a load of equipment to streamline water changes to become less reliant on our fish guy:
- 2500l/h pump (will obviously turn it down a bit)
- 20m hose
- longer gravel siphon cleaner
- various fish tank cleaning accessories (with long handles for my biggest tank)
Plus some new coral glue so that I can attach the cabbage where it is and the toadstool slightly higher. They’ve both opened up at least, just need the toadstool to stand up now.
Reef fans are working like a charm, they are still somehow managing to keep it between 26.5 and 26.9C. Didn’t think they would work so well.
