Your Fast-Sync experience

Using fast sync and also have a 144hz monitor with gsync powered by a 1070,the card and nividia are new to me as is 144hz and gsync so I might not be the best to judge.

I've been running doom with gsync and free sync and when my frames go above the 144hz (I've seen 200fps ) there is no stuttering or tearing for me it seems to be working as it should ,keeping things smooth and fast without tears or stutter.

So when I get my 1080 will I have to enable anything for fast-sync to work? Using a Acer X34a g-sync. Not used fast-sync yet. Hope to have my 1080 by Monday.

Yes, unless you are using just G-Sync

FastSync is Pascal only (they've got separated frame buffers), good solution for games with high frame rates.
