Interestingly, a video on YouTube led me to create this thread. Miami Vice, Collateral and Heat are some of my faves too.

Heat is an all-time great - his best by a long shot. And it stands the test of time

John Carpenter and James Cameron.

Growing up they have made the most movies i would list in my favourites like The Thing, Halloween, Aliens, Terminator 1 and 2, Assualt on Precinct 13, you could go on and on.

Danny Boyle, i cant think of a bad film by him.
