Volgarr the Viking

That ^ wasn't released in the last year, but I've only actually played one game released in the last year - Gauntlet, which was great, but not quite as much fun as Volgarr.

Probably Divinity Original Sin, I think that just makes it into the last year.

Well the OP says "Past year to this date" so Witcher 3 is valid.

Assassin's Creed: Unity.

I know most people hated it, but I thought it was good. The first AC game I've enjoyed (or finished, not counting Liberation) since AC2. Comfortably the best-looking game released to date as well IMO. Shame about the technical issues spoiling it for so many.

Football Manager 2015, if in terms of pure 'hours spent playing' as I'm close to 900 hours played and that's despite University

GTA:V (although my playitme is prodominantly on X1) & CS:GO.

For me, CS:GO is honestly the perfect game.

I've been playing quite a bit of Counter Striker : GO and agree in terms of first person shooters. I think it's as near perfect as it is possible to be.
