For price/taste ratio aswell. I like dominos pizza too but they are damned expensive

For price/taste ratio im gonna have to go with a single piece of chicken breast for £1 from my local 'listers' or 'flames' both have excellent chicken and after a night out when £1 is usually all i have left it tastes great. So good the bones can be eaten aswell!

Whats your favourite take-away for value and taste?

I usually go for the local chinese, as it's usually a lot cheaper than dominos and far far bigger portions!

paid about £6.50 last night and got Hot and Sour soup, OK crispy chicken wings, Starters box (shared between 2) and chow mein.

Donimos only if i have coupons or codes

Otherwise Chic Chow Mein or Sweet + Sour Chic Balls for £3.50 and you get a large portion (fills a 12" dinner plate)

Chippy near me.

Lunch time special, chips with either pie, pudding, chicken or sausage and then a choice of gravy, peas or curry in a tray.

£1.30

never actually had dominos are they as great as they make out to be?

i do like chinese, Crispy shredded beef with chilli+garlic is great :) along with egg fried rice <3

Chinese seems to be the go-to takeaway in my household :)

Pizza is great but can be pretty expensive (£12-13 each, compared to £6~ for a chinese or indian).

i used to quite enjoy chinese until i realised i could cook much better chinese, most likely a papa johns pizza now... bit pricey mind.

My fave take away is Soya Chinese used to be city friends which gradually went down hill, but since it's been taken over it's amazingly good.

I get egg fried rice and sweet and sour chicken balls. BUT instead of sweet and sour sauce I get Hoi Sin Sauce. Delish!.

Sometimes depending on hunger We'll get some shredded beef or chowmein n share the lot. mmmm mmm :D

No. I prefer Pizza hut.

But maybe my Dominos branch just suck. That said, I recently found out I get half price so that may change :p

There's 2 Kebab shops in Stonehaven, one called Majestics and the other Lazio's

they both do AWESOME Donner Pizzas - my number one fave munch when getting nice n tipsy :)

Hmm, for price/taste it's gotta be crispy shredded beef with chips or chicken Tikka Korma with Peshwari naan.

........Bang Bang chicken is a dish that originates from China.

Serves 4
1 baby gem lettuce, washed / 4 smoked chicken breasts, thickly sliced /1 carrot, peeled and julienned / 3 spring onions, trimmed and julienned / 1 red onion, peeledand julienned /'4 teaspoons sesame seeds, lightly toasted SAUCE 250g smooth peanut butter / 5 teaspoons sweet chilli sauce / 5 tablespoons sesame oil / 6 tablespoons vegetable oil Whisk together the sauce ingredients in a heatproof bowl and warm them gently over simmering water in a saucepan or bain-marie. This should only take a matter of minutes. Meanwhile, separate the baby gem lettuce leaves and lay them on a large plate with the chicken slices over the top. Scatter the julienned vegetables round the chicken and spoon over the warm sauce. Sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds and serve immediately, letting everyone help themselves.
