I only really use Toms Hardware and anandtech but am keen to read more. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Unfortunately Toms and Anandtech are shadows of their former selves since the founders moved on. Tom went years ago, Anand went to work for Apple a few months ago.

HardOCP is good as is PCPer for hardware stuff. Arstechnica is worth look for a more general slant.

turn off shockwave flash object in your browser/add ons,it stops all those annoying adverts/pop ups

I'm fond of Ars Technica and Bit-Tech.

AnandTech can be good, but I find that its reviews focus too much on hardware minutiae at the expense of telling you what it's actually like to use a device. A typical AnandTech phone review has 1,000 words on display characteristics, one paragraph on the phone's software and one line on the subjective 'feel' of the phone. That's not really a useful balance of info for a purchasing decision.

Toms Hardware is rubbish and has been for as long as I can remember.

Tech report is worth a look, in addition to the others mentioned. I quite like their podcast, when I have time to concentrate on it a bit
