Every one of my live DVDs is ruined by his voice.

Anyway:
Rob Halford
Robert Plant (but not live now)
Freddie Mercury (but not live (when he was living))
Ian Gillan (but not now)
Dave Lee Roth
Ian Anderson
Paul Rodgers
Brad Delp
Steve Walsh
Ozzy Osbourne

Seems strange of you to leave out Dickinson?

[Grandmaster Fap!]

I'll go with Mercury, Lee Roth and Dio.

But also Liam Gallagher, he was belting in the 90s, not so much now.

Seems strange of you to leave out Dickinson?

I was a D'ianno fan although I accept Dickinson is an excellent vocalist but not somebody where I go 'Oooh'.

[PapaLazaru]

Sia Furler is my favourite femail vocalist in recent times.

This is a few years old but it is is incredible. Listen to it all.

It is a pity she is now only really famous for bit parts in tracks.

[PapaLazaru]

Big fan of Jeff Buckley as well. RIP.

What are some corey taylor songs with excellent vocals?

I've heard some slipknot and stone sour singles but never really wowed by him.

he does the instrumentation in this as well.

[cm1179]

[manic111]

Jonsi (of Sigur Ros)
Adam Duritz

['Harry]

[Doohickey]

Florence Welch

[K1LLSW1TCH]

I would have said him too, but not on the last three albums.

I haven't managed to buy the two latest albums yet but when I think of him I tend to think of everything before Silent Cry. Polythene, Echo Park, Pushing the Senses and Comfort in Sound are all epic, that far outweighs any potential rubbishness for me.

[Merlin5]

I'd never heard of 'Birdy' (Jasmine van den Bogaerde) before watching the paralympics opening ceremony tonight, but she's only 16 years old and did a superb and moving performance on piano and vocal. Lovely voice and excellent ivory tinkling skills.

From 3:11:40

I agree there but with bruce its not just the voice, he's just a great front man full stop. Although age has caught up with his vocie.

The thread is 'Who is your favourite vocalist' and he isn't however when threads come up asking who is your favourite 'frontman' I always reply with Freddie or Dave Lee Roth but I forget how superb Dickinson is.

[Lysander]

Not my top favourite, but certainly up there.

[footman]

Neil Young
Paul Rodgers
Freddie Mercury
Billy Preston
Sam Cooke
Roy Orbison
Eva Cassidy
Aretha Franklin
