My girlfriend uses it and surprise surprise surprise when it comes to jars, radiators etc she gets confused.

I find that I don't mix up North and South, it's just West and East. So what I do is think of a compass and then use the word "WE" to think that West is on the left and East is on the right. "EW" is ewwww. 
I use "Richard of York Gave Battle In Vein" for colours of a rainbow and "My Very Easy Method Just Speeds Up Naming Planets" (knowing that the (P)lanets for Pluto is no longer strictly correct).
There's the every useful PPPPPPP too - Proper Prior Preparation Prevents **** Poor Performance

I'm enjoying bummfelch being one of the easier ones for you, although I suppose you've got fear and crap down pat so looks like you're clear for take off.
Well, anti-clockwise loosey clockwise righty doesn't have the same ring to it.
but if you have a screwdriver, you would rotate it left to loosen or rotate it right to tighten.
I was told by a tutor many moons ago the ruder you make the mnemonic, the easier it will be to remember, it's worked for me!
His was the Catholic version.

I think you may want to censor your pump as well! I am intrigued if that is a typo or a genuine thing, but no way am I googling that at work.
