Your greatest ever mod?

Nice, have you got that working with a single throttle setup? Are you still on the standard ECU?

Cheers,

I've not got it anymore, however it was the original throttle body bolted to the back of the supercharger, dummy TB in place of the original. Piggyback ECU (Emanage Ultimate) with MAP sensor and Wideband LC-1 and an XD-16.

Really enjoyed installing, modding and turning it.

Uprated engine mounts and dogbone for the LCR, reduced understeer by stopping the twisting effect on the front subframe.

The best mod is apparently filling the subframe with an epoxy based foam to completely remove the twisting, but I really, REALLY cba.

The best value mod was adjusting the actuator to run 18PSI on my old R5 GTT but my fave mod ever was fitting a pair of 8" coaxial speakers and an amp to my XR2 when I was 18. That was back before anyone had amps or subs and I loved feeling bass like never before.

Happy days...

I think the most noticeable for price/performance was probably Princess calipers on my RS2000, Konis on my SD1, Whiteline anti-lift kit and bushes on the STi and track geometry on the GT-R (tyre wear is verging on the ridiculous though).

Braided brake lines usually make a nice initial impresion as well for a small outlay.

If it's purely for smiles per miles, Cobb AP.

The dogbone mount is a common upgrade on the Octavia for a similar reason. Did you experience any extra NVH? I've read all extremes from people saying there was no difference to those saying that after a month they couldn't live with it any more.

induction & dump valve on the 200sx, purely because it was the first modding i did myself & the noise was wonderful :) That plus the decat also gave it a healthy increase in power :)

The LCR is pretty harsh as it is, so I've not really noticed any increase in vibration or suchlike.

I've never really modded any of my cars so on my current car, after 100 miles of motorway tyre roar, fitting a radio has been my greatest mod I think!
