Your greatest gig/show of all time?

Rammstein at Wembley arena 2010 was brilliant, would love to go now they've ramped up the show.

Manic Street Preachers in the Ulster Hall sometime about 2012-2014 they managed to play an amazing gig with no gimics and I really enjoyed it despite not being a massive fan.

Napalm Death in Buckley last year, small venue and great sound played all the classics and was really good fun.

Pink Floyd at earls court in 92 I think it was.
Massive Attack in Manchester (can't remember when / can't remember a great deal about this actually) and probably AC/DC thunderstruck tour in Glasgow, again no idea on dates, early 90's.

Saw G'n'R, Slid Row and Nine Inch Nails at the old Wembley Stadium back in the Early 90's. Was good but it was a crazy long day as they were typically insanely late getting on stage. Seem to remember Skid Row kind were better as well on the day.

Worst was probably Sea Horses that my ex dragged me to at Rock City in Nottingham, they were utterly lifeless.

Honourable mention to the Birmingham philharmonic Orchestra who played Bach- Brandenburg Concertos and blew me away. First exposure to classical and I've loved it ever since.

It was 94, was at one of those nights too, awesome. Manic trip down from N Scotland with mates after a full days work on Friday, hired car took a lot of punishment and we arrived in London exhausted with no sleep and surviving on just adrenaline and excitement for the show... we arrived far too early, it was just bad planning for a long road trip through the night, we parked near as poss to our hotel who told us to go away and come back about 1 PM and did what Scotsman do best after a hearty breakfast at a local cafe .. got drunk in some great London pubs.
We staggered back to hotel about mid afternoon absolutely knackered with no sleep for well over 24 hrs, asked our hotel receptionist to give us a wake up call at about 6PM ... that never happened .. I was the first to wake up I think, looked outside and it was pitch black and was in instant panic ... OMG what time is it, panic stations, but it was late in year, Oct or Nov? and we still had time, woke my friends up, quick showers and out the hotel ASAP. Pure darkness of course ... but luck was on our side ... nearby Earls Court and in the darkness had two powerful searchlights probing the London skys, that had to be it we thought, so we ran towards those searchlights, even vaulting a sort of dual carrigway barriers and dodging cars to get there ... very very silly, but it was about 30 years ago but we were much younger and stupid LOL

We made it though, grabbed some shirts and a beer and got sat down about 5 minutes before first song Astronomy Domine started ... magic :)

Edit ... spot my mistake here ... i thought it was a Saturday night and this is deffo my ticket scan, so we must have went down on the Thursday, not Friday ... doh

Blocked !!

Sorry, will have a look at that now

Edit .. it is blocked, had that once or twice on Youtube about copyright claim or something? It was just a short clip from a Skid Row show that was fun ... cant see any way round it? It was my filming clip though LOL

Oh and not that I'm their biggest fan or anything, but it was one brilliant intro and crash on stage that set their pace for the rest of night ... a fine little gig.

I’m waaaaaaay to old for that :D and November sounds cold! Mind you, the Ozrics (Roly and Ed?) will be in their 50s so fair play to them.

Roly's been dead for about 20 years. Ed's still guitar/ keys. His son is in the band now, along with his wife (who is an amazing bass player).

We are old... but I'll probably go.

Jesus RIP Roly. November though…assume it’s indoors and I could bring a blanket? :D

Edit: great to meet a fellow fan, thank you

Guys, guys you're never too old! (52 here :p)

Just saw them twice a week apart in Manchester and Cambridge last Nov/Dec, they were absolutely brilliant and great to see them again, was probably back in the late 90's/early 2000's I last saw them. I was soooo hammered, it was awesome

But thanks for the prompt, I'll be booking again this Nov!

About the same age as me. Glad to hear you got blitzed, always good to hold a torch for the youths (who seem far less likely to get hammered, from recent t gigs I've been to).

I'm off to see voivod in brizzle next month. Looking forward to that!

Rammstein @ Birmingham not sure what year it was but I was still in College. Never experienced anything like it!
Combichrist in Edinburgh bongo club was outstanding. Both support bands were also 10/10 which is almost unheard of.

Slipknot at Ozzfest in 2001 (Milton Keynes Bowl) i think, my first festival experience when i was 15.

Not a fan these days but their early stuff was decent and the set was phenomenal.

Black Sabbath playing the closing set was amazing too!!
