Your history of gpu failures?

Not really "failed" but just not working as ideal, probably as much related to the games I played as the cards / drivers....

ATI 9800 pro
ATI 4870
AMD Red Devil LTD ED 6800XT.

The above were more driver related / game compatibilities.

Nvidia 3080Ti FE - due to power spikes causing BSOD's and PC shut downs. Somewhat before it was recognised "officially" how much certain cards can cause these type of spikes. Probably would not have happened if I had not got a Seasonic Titanium Ultra 750w PSU, they were sensitive to those and shut down.

The above card was just Nvidia being a knob and expecting PSU manufacturers to resolve their power spiking issues.

I've had a PC since the '80's so I've probably missed a few.

I did have, briefly, a 3D accelerated card before the first 3DFX Orchid etc started to be available. Called PowerVR something...? That had to go back due to hardly any games using it at the time.

Edit think the old 3D card was called VideoLogic Apocalypse 3D.

Not had any total failures, personally, but both of the last two Nvidia GPU's have had faults.
2080 FE the LED's started flickering or would not come on for days then come back on again.
The 3080 FE had a very intermittent fault in that the system it was in would completely freeze. Didn't happen often, maybe once or twice a month. Only ever when doing general desktop tasks, watching stuff on youtube, not gaming. System been completely stable since removing it and using iGPU only and the same system ran the 2080 fine. Could be the power spikes issue as per previous poster but in my case the system would just freeze and eventually reboot if left long enough.

The 8600 failed on my Santa Rosa Macbook and I put a custom cooler on my 570 so both were fails, generally nothing broke
