Your idea for a computer game

They've done that. It was poor. Unless you meant a remake to the remake? ;)

Oh no, and such a great game - could be a great multiplayer game if the right people made it.

A Direct X 10 Star Wars space sim where you fly in X - Wings, TIE Fighters, Jedi Stafighters, Star Destroyers, Mon Calimari Space Cruisers. The works and literally battle it out. The mission's wont be a direct "Destroy the Death Star's main rector" it'll be, destroy the Death Star's main reactor whilst dodging 120 laser beams and with three TIEs on your tail whilst providing PROPER covering fire.
Stuff like "cover me!" and they actually do it. And if you're stuck, you could actually order your fleet to jump to hyperspace and you will, real time and you'd have to hunt and destroy. :)

Not sure how it would work, but a Single player game thats also multiplayer, and what i mean by that is other players play the enemy ingame - but you work your way through the story... so kinda not single player...

But yea...

Nothing will ever be able to beat my x wing - tie fighter memories unfortunately. Does sound like a cracking game though. The only thing which would be an advance would be some proper ai.

lol m8, im pretty sure I was in a Counterstrike Source clan with you. Can you remember Titan Forces, or Digital Paradise Clan?

Yeh, I was in Digital Paradise. I was the one you nagged about making the clan site.

A financial trading simulation, like the film Wall Street except purely text-based, where you get asked to make decisions, you can bribe company directors to disclose changes that affect stock prices.

There was a website like this, called "Rogue Market" I believe. It allowed you to purchase stock in famous people, and then their prices would fluctuate due to happening events and such.

Valve are doing something like with Left Behind (think that's the name). 4 player co-op, fighting your way through a zombie infested city, but other players can jump in a take control of the zombies. Source engine, sounds brill :)

something different, like a co-ordination game for Wii. maybe where it teaches you a skill toy, like juggling, diabolo or glowsticking?

Wiki GAME and you will see its not as easy as it sounds.

Most of what has been suggested has been "what type of themes/content" can you think of, as opposed to what game.

99% of the games for the NES, for example, were platform games, and thus conquering one meant learning 99% of the skills for all the other platform games.

Ditto fps, many RPGs etc etc

A game where you choose what you want to, probably a war game so you can:-

1. Choose a FPS and just play as a foot soldier.
2. Choose to be a pilot.
3. Choose to be in the navy.
4. RTS stratergy where you can be a General leading the battles, building etc.
5. A "country" building aspect where you can be allied with other factions in the game.

all tied together in one huge massive multiplay game.

HEADRAT

How about a RTS game set in World War 2, called it something like "Squad of Warriors".

Or maybe a FPS where your in a research facility when an expreiment goes wrong, loads of Aliens get teleported to this facility, the goverment send in troops to destroy the eveidence and you have to fight your way out of it. Maybe call it "Escape From The Research Faciltiy", or something.

Or how about a space based MMO where you have to trade, fight and form alliances to defend yourselves against other player alliances. We could call it "Morning Online"

Let me know what you think :)

:EDIT: Oh wait.... :p
