Hi guys,

Just thought I'll create this thread for everyone who've ordered an iPod Touch; please put the iPod Touch Size you've ordered on the Apple Online Store, the date you placed the order, if the iPod is personalised (engrave) and your order status...

I'm curious if anyone's iPod Touch has been dispatched from Apple as the American's have had their dispatched and some are even minutes away from their address now...

Here's Mine,

iPod Touch Size: 16GB
Order Placed: 18th Sept
Engraved?: Yes
Order Status: Not Yet Shipped...
 
Apple has just changed my delivery est. from 1st/2nd Oct to 4th/5th Oct :(

What are they up to?
I mean, the "shipped by" date remains but delivery date changes, either they're snail posting it or the iPod needs to take the plane around the world twice before reaching my door...

/rant.
 
Mine's set on prepared to ship so I cannot cancel... been prepared to ship for like forever! (I know, been 2 days) but it's the 28th! Even in China, it's been the 28th for over 8 hours now! :P

I want my Touch... *impatient little imp*
 
Been on "Prepared" for 3 days now... Today's the 28th, China's the 29th now... Shipped by the 28th?

They have however changed their wording since I've placed the preorder tho, to Estimated Shipping... sneaky.

As impatient as I am, think engraved iPods are taking longer... I'm still waiting for my "prepared" to be shipped!

EDIT!:

It's finally shipped... on the 29th and estimated delivery date? 9th :(

EDIT again:

It would appear I'll be getting a week38 one (from the serial num)
Quite a few people's been complaining about the new updates making the week38s "blocky" when playing vids... 1 issue down another to come... fun~

When did it change for you? Mine's still 9th :(

A week 39... shouldn't be any different to a week 38 but yours is definitely the lastest in terms of weeks...

EDIT!:

It's coming even later now... 11th apparently. TNT picked it up today from SuZhou, why so late?!
Reason I'm so annoyed is the Southampton Apple store has a few on sale and I could have grabbed it before my pre-ordered even arrives, weeks ahead! Argh!

2hrs later than SS-89 when "Shipped From Originating Depot" - I would bet it wouldn't be 2hrs later than SS-89's when it delivers...

Rather annoyed - guess it's a lesson learnt, don't preorder Apple's new product again, just go to the nearest store.
 
Hmm... if it's like what Rob and SS has posted, I should get mine tomorrow?
