Your most annoying 'helper' on a game.

You can't really pick optional followers from Skyrim. If they annoy you don't take them :p

Though I agree that Lydia's "I am sworn to carry your burdens" is possibly the single most annoying line ever recorded in a game ><

Claptrap is annoying but thats part of his charm :D

None of the helpers in skyrim are more annoying than others IMO, they all **** me off equally by blocking doorways and hallways. The amount of times my health gets low and I need to leg it to allow my magicka to regenerate and I can't because mar-****ing-curio has jammed me between himself and the bandit marauder I'm trying to kill.

I remember playing single player GRAW, lots of the time I ended up just hiding my squad somewhere out of the way and completing the missions by myself. If they were involved in a contact with the enemy, they'd just tell me they were taking fire, then die. No return fire, no taking cover... the only difference they made was giving away our position.

I also remember in Colin McRae Rally 3, sometimes the co-driver would tell you the next corner was tight, straight after a crest and had a large drop on the outside, but he wouldn't tell you until you were just hitting the top of the crest, followed of course by sailing straight past the corner and down the cliff.

You take that back. Or I will find you, and... tell you how ignorant you are!

Tails <3

Oh, unless you're talking about the new sonic games where they talk. Yeah, I haven't played those. And don't intent to. Because they talk... talk like American 12 year old kids.
I also hate Knuckles, annoying pink emo he is.

The camera.

No seriously, Assassins Creed, God of War, Prince of Persia, all of them have that annoying ****ing camera mechanic where it pauses gameplay for up to 30 seconds to SHOW YOU HOW TO COMPLETE THE DAMN PUZZLE.

Gets right on my ****, I enjoy solving puzzles and working out routes, I don't need the twatting game designer to hold my hand and say "See this thing? Are you sure you see it because it MIGHT be important *wink wink*".

I can see why. The controls are incredibly slick and the levels make you think a lot on how how to progress unless you cheat and use a guide which would be lame.

Slippy the Toad from Starfox 64/Lylatwards!

"HELP ME FOX!!"

I don't care if it's male or female, i'd still punch it in the neck with a glass if I ever met it in the street.

Sorry everyone but this guy has won the thread.

In all seriousness, I had forgotten about that little ***** existence.

The citizens from Half Life 2, constantly blocking your way as you went through the buildings in City 17. I was always sending the off as far as possible to get them out of the way. It was like throwing a dog a stick as far as you possibly could. It could also happen with Alex in the episodes, but not as bad because she was on here own. In HL2 there were four of them.
