Your mosted wanted upgrade at the moment?

realistically, an ssd to put my copy of windows 7 on thats still waiting to be installed because i cant be bothered to wipe everything and a sound card together with a nice set of 5.1 speakers to replace my 2.1.

not so realistically another 5870 for crossfire, or maybe wait for fermi and get 1 of those together with a 3d vision kit.

got my eye on a x25 80gb, but cant find retail version in stock anywhere.

need to get one to install win 7 on before the rc version starts to complain

Screw SSDs they're way too much maintenance than their worth

A conventional SATA raid is better in the long run and CHEAPER !

2 x Samsung SpinPoint F3 500G in RAID0 on an ICH10R like a P5Q

- Only problem is that dispite this being a very cheap upgrade, I just don't have the time for it.

SSD is a far better idea for me in the laptop, if you ignore the cost.

1.8" drive limitation means I'd be limited to 5200rpm max I believe. I'd rather the silence and speed of the SSD.
Depends on how much you'd be using it, I think the cost is justified. :)

If I can somehow get £300 together it will either be:
a) Nice new monitor and new GPU
b) i5 + mobo + RAM
c) SSD + w7
I hate not having money /cry
