Your next car?

I've only been driving for a year, and someone has offered me £10 grand (embarrassed) in the summer. The thing is, I don't think someone my age can get insurned on the sort of cars you can grab for that price :D I'm looking at a Mini Cooper (2nd hand of course) but I'm sure I can probably get something faster for less. Anyways, I don't want to get too excited now because I'm not buying it for a long time.

Vauxhall Viva
Vauxhall Chevette
BMW E30 325i
BMW E34535i
Lada Riva

Whichever happens to come up for sale at a decent price first I suppose.

well it will be another octavia next week :) yet another addition to our vag fleet) 1.9tdi taxi beast.

then in the summer wifeys currrent octavia steed is getting chopped in for a octy vrs derv mobile, and i'll hopefully be adding a superb :)

do you see a trend developing here

currently have

1x 51 plate octavia 1.9tdi
1x 04 plate octavia 1.9tdi
the weekend loadlugger a4 avant B5 :) funnily enough a tdi also

and the new octy taxi arriving this week.

damn i need serious psychiatric help it seems (sniffs the filler cap)

After having a quick spin on x-mas day in my uncles 225bhp TT I fell in love with it. To be realistic I think this time next year I will be in a new car, dont want to jump up too much as I have bigger plans to put into motion which will involve almost all my money anyway. Really want an MG ZR to be honest *hides from paradigm* :)

Dolomite Sprint, if insurance allows, with a more interesting engine in it. ;) Or 1.8 mx5 if I stay modern. Hopefully sometime in 2007.

I really dont know what I want next.

At the moment, I am very happy with the Impreza.

I have a hankering for some more American Iron, in the form of a Z06 Vette.

Seem to be a few cheap tourings coming along lately. Was tempted by one that was just over the water, but I got in to late to bid on teabay :(

Love the idea of a stripped out touring in silver or grey with black 15" bbs alloys with a polished rim

MX-5 would be perfect dislike the way it looks.£8k rwd coupe/rag topskidney to insure an elise ;)200sx is ugly.

Keeps the prices down. Compromise. Maybe next year you will see S15 approaching this. Perhaps the older ones already are.

You have garage space in Sheffield for the Elise or the mx5? Must have or that would rule them out more than insurance. You'd never sleep at night. No worries parking a 200sx on the street.

Oooh

Next Car?

I have a list! Currently:

1. Mitsubishi Galant Super Vr4
2. Mitsubishi GTO MR
3. Mazda RX7 FD
4. Mazda Eunos Comso
5. Toyota Chaser/Tourer Twin Turbo Manual
6. Porsche 968 Clubsport
7. Audi S6 (Older 4.2)

List changes daily. :)

You would not want to own a 968 CS as a daily driver. That car sticks out like a sore thumb in that list!

Hopefully in the next 5 years (being realistic!) an MG ZT 260:
