Your next car

Don't know yet, but I do know I want it to be fun and ideally reliable...but it'll most likely be something from the early-mid nineties...I have a long list of cars to test drive and see what I can afford when the time comes for a new car. :)

10k rise for a HNC, have i been looking in the wrong area or are you delusional?

I'm in a poorly-ish paid job atm. I currently earn £19K + a little overtime as a skilled technician, with most other people (who aren't totally stupid) having the same qualifications as me earning £25k+ in my locality. A HNC in Mech. Production will give me a little more leverage and hopefully get me into a slightly more technical position within a larger company.

The only good thing about my current job is it's 5 minutes from home and the working hours are pretty much set in stone. They won't even support my HNC (which I actually hope to take onto a HND), and as such I'm paying for it myself.

The M3 is just the proverbial carrot at the moment!

Not sure what Im going to do. Happy with my house and current fixed rate mortgage is good, but then cant decide whether to buy a barge and keep the 200 as a toy but not sure its silly running two reasonably expensive to run cars.

If I get a decent barge then I might get fed up as it wont be sporty enough. Could sell the 200 and get something with more oompf or just keep the 200 and tweak it even more.

I'm 18 and have an 07 1.4 Clio atm which will last me until I finish university. So by 25 (when I've had a few years working and earnt some money :)) I'm going to aim for a Golf GTi or an evo :)

Probably something wafty to replace the RS4 followed by:

Toyota Celica 140 01-02 Dynamic + Sports Pack I think ~ £5-6k around the new year. Earmarked a few on AT that are not selling and prices keep lowering.

I haven't driven one though; maybe I won't like the power delivery as I rarely venture over 5k revs but it's no doubt faster than my Civic 1.4.

Forgot to put in my alternative to the ST220 if fuel prices go silly :o

If fuel gets a tad high I think I'd go along the lines of something with the new VAG 1.4 supercharged+turbocharged engine. Infact that lump in the new Scirocco would be ace.

something volve, something audi or something vw.

or something old haha

not quite decided, my current car is being run into the ground before i think about buying anything else.

I really dont know yet

Most likley one of these:

Focus ST-2/3
Astra VXR
Corsa VXR
Mondeo ST200
Mondeo Titainium X (new shape)
BMW 330Ci
Audi A4 2.0T FSI
Audi TT 2.0T FSI
Mini Cooper S JCW

Integra Type R DC2.

I might hold out for the DC5 but I think I need to test drive it 1st. Mind you, the local garage has a nice bimmer for sale and an old school Supra cheap. I know they'd be silly purchases though :D

Crosseyed and looks like it's melted at front, then they put all that effort in on front styling and it goes to square windshield out of the 50s, wth

thats whats so cool about it, it looks retro and gorgeous, but it handles like a new car.
Why did they decide to stop making cars look like that, christ knows, they make some awesome hotrodded bosuzoku crazy mobiles.

just got a leon cupra 4, so not really looking to change for at least 18 months..
when the time comes, i suspect it will be something from Bavaria :)

Originally was going to get a Focus ST or RS after my current Focus but then got the deal on the 05 525D SE, going to hold on to that maybe for another 2yrs, still undecided on what to do with the Focus. Thinking something a bit more less commonplace like some American barge.

An Evo III or IV. Maybe a V.

Would prefer a IV though. Think they look more agressive than the V.

Won't be for a while mind. I'm waiting for mine to go up in value :p

2 choices for me. It's either:

A corvette. Unsure about which though. Early 80's Sharknose would have amazing road presence. Something like below would be the ultimate.

Choice two, we head off to Germany for one of these. The BMW 850csi
