Your office desk! Pics...

ah right, have you been employed and work at home? or is it your company?

Yeah, started when we were doing something different (still related to phones) then moved over to parts, put some work into getting everything working when I'm not there then left this March :D

I'm one of the 2 directors

So you take home ~2mil split between you and the other director?

Whats the training scheme like? I have finished school, 4 years in college, 2 years in University, been working in the IT industry starting my 5th year now out of Uni. I would expect training for ATC would be quite a vigorous learning curve for someone with no experience in the Aviation industry?

Not at all. It is not easy granted, but should be no problem for someone with your experience of studying. There was only a couple of people on my course who had any previous aviation experience.

I also have one more question :p

How long did it take you to train? I.e. How long was it after you started training that you began working as an ATC...er :p

My desk and workbench area (self employed computer & laptop repairs, networking, etc). Most work carried out onsite but got space for three or four systems for repairs connected to KVM as shown.

College can last between 6 - 18 months depending on what ratings you get (Area, Aerodrome, Approach). After being posted to a unit you can expect anywhere from 6 months to 2 years of on the job training before validating.

What type of work you do to work from home? Do you have your own business?

I'm a technical consultant, and at the moment I'm setting up a new support system internally which doesn't require me to be in the office. Most of the time I'm on a customer site working, and in between I'm at home.
